Monthly Report 2 – February

As we move into month 3, here is my report on Month 2 – January 2023.

I have continued to produce content and now have about 16 pieces of content awaiting some form of work to be done. 

I have engaged with another writer who is not writing for me in surfer but is turning content briefs around in 3 – 4 days, and the quality is good. In today’s world of ai and ChatGP, I have checked the content to ensure it was not ai generated due to his speed – and it looks ok.

My traffic is growing ( up over 200%) in December, but no less than I would expect, as I publish more content each week.

I am also starting to get the green shoots of organic search, so I have set up Ahrefs to track my keywords. It is going to be tough to rank but I will keep persevering.

I manually index the URL as I finish them to ensure they are indexed as soon as possible.

I am starting to get clicks on many affiliate links but I do not expect to get any return yet – I need to increase my traffic 5 fold to even get a sniff.

At the end of this month, I will be in a position to start guest posting. I will write the guest post but have outsourced the email finding as I am still working full-time.

Producing a blog as a business is certainly a marathon. It takes a lot of work to get to this point, but I am determined to keep developing this into a viable money-making website.
